What are the main rituals of Umrah?
Umrah includes four primary acts:
1. Ihram – Entering a sacred state with intention. 2. Tawaf – Circling the Kaaba seven times. 3. Sa’i – Walking between Safa and Marwah seven times. 4. Halq/Taqsir – Shaving or trimming the hair.
Can Umrah be done in a single day?
Yes. Most pilgrims complete Umrah in 4 to 6 hours, depending on the crowd and physical ability. However, the full trip (including travel and rest) usually takes several days.
Who can perform Umrah?
Any Muslim who is physically and financially capable can perform Umrah. Women must travel with a Mahram (male guardian), unless in approved group tours from certain countries.
How is Umrah different from Hajj?
